I’m not sure where the website servers are located but the performance of the website was horrible. I have been a member of OT for about 8 months, I do like a dating site for over 50. All sites have scammers free or paid for. Everyone skis, plays golf, walks the beach, wants the last love of their life and exercises 4 times a week..oh yes looks much younger then they are.
Most of my contacts were through chats. I found repeatedly that someone would claim to live in my area but could not even respond to basic questions about places they liked or restaurants they enjoyed. One guy claimed to live in Arlington, TX but couldn’t discuss the new stadium and just remarked that he didn’t care for sports. I asked what new eateries had sprung up around Arlington and he replied that they have an Applebee’s????

My profile was still available but my pictures were gone. While looking on the site I found a profile of someone I know who hasn’t been on the site for over a year. The 5 pictures she originally had were there and her profile was not even close to what she originally written and I suspect her pictures are being used as a scam. Occupation, height, build, religion, education, children, pets weren’t her. The synopsis was not even a description of her. So be very wary of this site, waste of time, money and effort.
The men are lying about their age because they look 70 and say they are 45. Just a waste of money but they don’t care because we were stupid enough to believe their commercial showing very handsome older men. If you go through the list of profiles in which you click on yes, no, or maybe, be advised that if you click on yes you’ll thereby “send” one of those canned flirt messages. I’d rather decide myself if I want to flirt and resent any site (OurTime isn’t the only one) that sends messages on my behalf, making it look like I contacted that person when I didn’t. This is the BOTTOM of the online dating world!!!
